Position Summary Senior Research Analyst (2 positions) Salary: $78,073.75 - $89,127.26 annually Regular/FULL‑TIME Job Description The Senior Research Analyst undertakes a broad range of complex analytical and research initiatives designed to support the activities of the Research Department and to support the business activities of BC Housing Management Commission. Responsibilities include conducting major analytical and research projects; developing policies and procedures; researching and developing new measures for the Service Plan; revising measures and assisting with the Performance Measurement Framework; developing and maintaining a database/information system to support program activities; developing Web Focus reports in collaboration with IT staff; extracting data and information; managing research projects including conducting research, summarizing findings, preparing reports and making recommendations for senior management and the Board of Commissioners. Candidate Profile Education: Masters degree in planning, economics, business, or related social science discipline. Minimum 5 years experience managing complex research projects and producing reports. Experience with database administration and relational databases; ability to extract, summarize and analyze data. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and Access. Good knowledge of research methods. Ability to plan, organize and manage complex research projects and meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of social housing and social policy is an asset. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the employer.
