This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-driven paralegal with CORES Level 1 or 2 accreditation who enjoys corporate compliance work and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative team. In this role, your expertise will directly support corporate clients while working alongside experienced lawyers and paralegals in a firm that truly values precision, teamwork, and work-life balance. Hybrid work model with one work-from-home day per week Strong, well-rounded benefits package RRSP matching and Employee Deferred Profit Share Plan Free on-site fitness centre Health & Wellness subsidy Corporate discounts at City of Edmonton facilities Collegial culture with long-tenured team members What You’ll Do Manage the preparation and filing of annual returns for a variety of corporate entities Ensure all filings are accurate, compliant, and completed on time Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes impacting corporate filings Maintain organized corporate records, including minute books, registers, resolutions, and annual minutes Track deadlines and manage compliance calendars with precision Collaborate closely with the Corporate team to resolve issues and support client needs Provide proactive guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients What You Bring Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma CORES Level I or II certification Experience in a corporate department within a law firm Strong understanding of corporate compliance and annual returns processes Experience working with ALF database Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment Professional communication skills and a client‑service mindset At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
