Overview As a Senior Content Developer, you will create engaging content that supports both documentation and training for Acumatica ERP. Your work will help Acumatica’s partners and customers gain the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their business objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop clear and comprehensive documentation for designated functional areas of Acumatica ERP while adhering to corporate style guidelines and team processes. Maintain documentation in sync with software releases and revise legacy content to align with current standards and best practices. Design and develop training courses and skill assessments to support various learner personas. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify user scenarios and information gaps. Assist in resolving learner issues related to documentation and training content, providing timely solutions. Review UI labels and messages for accuracy and consistency within designated functional areas. Continuously improve team standards, processes, and tools. Assume the rotating Doc Watcher role: serve as an entry point for external communication, triage incoming product changes that require documentation, and maintain the team’s working environment. Qualifications Degree in English, technical writing, communications, computer science, or related field (preferred). At least 3 years of experience in technical writing, content development, or instructional design in the software industry; experience with Acumatica ERP or other ERP systems is required. Expertise in any of the industries Acumatica specializes in (preferred). Prior teaching or training experience (preferred). Skills Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely (required). Advanced proficiency with tools for content creation, version control, and project/task management (required). Knowledge of Acumatica ERP (preferred). Personal Traits Self‑motivated to produce high‑quality content even when specifications are incomplete. Positive communicator who builds effective working relationships with other team members. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate with minimal supervision (required). Tools and Environments (examples) Source control, CI/CD – Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo. Task/bug tracking – Jira. Database management – SQL Management Studio. Content development – Oxygen XML Editor, Snagit, Lucidchart.
