You’ll be working with young individuals (aged 8–18) who may face challenges related to autism, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioural needs.Your role will be pivotal in helping them grow, while also guiding and supporting the staff team. You’ll work on a rotating schedule that includes weekends, bank holidays, and routine overnight stays.What You’ll Be Responsible For:Supporting the Home Manager with the daily operations of the serviceCreating and maintaining a secure, warm, and responsive atmosphereParticipating in and helping lead care planning, with accurate records and documentationEngaging in review meetings and collaborative planning with professionals and familiesEnsuring adherence to safeguarding practices and all internal policiesLeading by example during shifts and allocating tasks clearly to staffGetting involved in both day-to-day routines and enjoyable activities like sports or artsAdministering medication safely and managing associated recordsMaintaining clear communication through detailed logs and incident reportsActing as a strong, reliable role model for both the young people and your colleaguesWhat’s Included:28 days’ annual leave including public holidaysNEST pension contributionsSage Employee Benefits portal accessA little birthday surprise to mark your day24/7 access to our confidential Employee Assistance ProgrammeDesignated as a Key WorkerAnd most importantly: a job that actually matters, day in and day outPlease NoteAll positions are subject to enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references.
