Do you have a hands-on personality and a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a full-time Estimator to join our team at the Red Deer Home Centre.
Full-time: 40 hours/week
Benefits: Eligible after 3 months
Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings
Responsibilities:- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, or computer-aided drawings
- Provide customers with estimates outlining building material requirements
- Suggest changes to construction plans for code compliance and efficiency
- Support tendering process with quantities, costing, and descriptive information
- Provide product recommendations for design quality and efficiency
- Develop and maintain Vendor Reference Database
- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals
- Conduct site visits and outside sales
1 – 3 years of relevant experience
Requirement: Valid Driver's Licence
