We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at the Red Deer Home Centre. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, or computer-aided drawings to provide customers with estimates outlining the overall building material requirements.
  • Support the tendering process by providing quantities, costing/pricing, and descriptive information associated with the overall building project.
  • Develop and maintain a Vendor Reference Database to track and specify material-specific information, and research alternative vendors where specialty goods are needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Building Inspectors, Draftsperson/Designers, Material Vendors, Trades, Local Coops, Local Home Builder/Contractor Association(s), and stay abreast of Industry trends.
  • Site Visits/Outside Sales experience.

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver's Licence is a requirement - must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire.
