Join FYihealth group as a Senior Financial Analyst in Calgary, Alberta. Job Overview We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. As a key contributor to the finance function, you’ll play a central role in budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support across the organization. Ideal candidate is located in Calgary, Alberta, where our Home Office is located. Responsibilities Leading the development of the annual budget, collaborating with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Building and maintaining long‑term financial forecasts, incorporating business trends, strategic initiatives, and market dynamics. Conducting monthly and quarterly business reviews, analyzing performance against plan and identifying key drivers of variance. Partnering with business leaders to develop data‑driven business cases that support investment decisions and operational initiatives. Enhancing and automating complex Excel‑based financial models, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Designing and optimizing data flows that support reporting and analytics, leveraging Power BI and Power Automate to streamline processes and improve data accessibility. Extracting, transforming, and analysing data from source systems and financial platforms such as NetSuite and OneStream, ensuring data integrity and consistency across reporting. Automating financial reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload. Performing variance analysis, identifying trends and key drivers of financial performance across 400+ locations and a manufacturing facility. Integrating financial and operational data to uncover insights that drive cost reduction, revenue optimisation, and profitability improvements. Collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to analyse profitability improvements. Identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and provide actionable recommendations. Performing monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis and executive summaries. Ad‑hoc financial analysis and deep dives to support senior leadership initiatives. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA or CPA). 4–7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance. Experience with EPM applications (OneStream, Hyperion, etc.), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.). Strong data manipulation skills, including Excel (Power Query). Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to set and achieve goals based on alignment with business objectives. Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines in an environment with a high volume of activity, while being detailed, organised and thorough. Ability to approach challenges with a problem‑solving mindset. Ability to build positive relationships and foster company culture. Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.
