Overview

Senior Financial Analyst role within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. Reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue FP&A.

This role is available to candidates across Canada and the U.S., excluding Quebec.

Our Financial Planning & Analysis team focuses on driving stakeholder and shareholder value by developing the operating and financial plans required to achieve company goals. You will help the business grow, help customers succeed, and continuously improve the way we operate.

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst who takes numbers seriously, thrives in a rapid-growth, high-velocity environment, and lives and breathes our values. You will drive insights and support strategic decision-making through in-depth analyses, revenue forecasting, ad-hoc financial modeling, and strong stakeholder partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of SaaS business models, strong analytical skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll work on

- Gather data from various sources to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, and provide key analytics, analyses, and summaries as required.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive revenue forecasting models in collaboration with revenue-generating teams, focusing on SaaS business models.
- Analyze data and work with business partners to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and growth.
- Provide insights and decision-making support for business partners and the leadership team (examples: ROI, unit economics scenario analysis, lifetime value and customer acquisition cost, sales efficiency trends).
- Develop and update financial models with actuals, conduct variance analysis, communicate insights, and forecast future performance.
- Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and work with operational leaders on opportunities to grow the business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives, including financial modeling and presenting findings to stakeholders, including the executive leadership team.
- Ensure strong data cleanliness and source-of-truth reporting.
- Work closely with Accounting to ensure all financial information is accurate.

What you bring

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (finance, accounting)
- CPA or CFA designation is preferred
- 3+ years of Financial Planning or Business Analysis experience
- Proven experience in Investment Banking, Financial Consulting, or finance within a high-growth or SaaS-driven environment, with a strong track record in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis
- Strong understanding of SaaS business metrics and KPIs
- Passion for effective and intuitive data visualization
- Data-driven, analytical, and curious mindset
- Self-motivated, independent, and deadline-oriented
- Interest in building data-driven organizations and having an impact on the business
- Clear, concise, articulate verbal and written communication skills for audiences at all levels
