A Day in the Life As HR Business Partner – Professional Products Division (DPP) at L’Oréal Canada HQ (Montréal), you report to the HR Director, PPD. Your primary mission is people development: you coach managers and employees on career progression, performance conversations and development plans, while ensuring compliance with Group HR policies and labour law. You will influence HR strategy locally, collaborate with international partners and challenge the business to align people priorities with commercial goals. Key Responsibilities Lead talent reviews, competency assessments and development plans. Conduct coaching conversations and enable managers to develop their employees and run effective performance cycles. Define headcount plans and support business decisions; strategic workforce planning & cost management. Design organization solutions, drive change adoption and activate HR initiatives. Manage employee relations matters and ensure legal and policy compliance. What We Are Looking For You are a pragmatic people developer who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and the ability to challenge the business. Required Skills & Experience University degree in industrial relations, HR management or related field. More than 5 years’ HR management experience (consumer goods an asset); CRHA/CRIA an asset. Bilingual in French & English. Core skills: Strategic HR Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management; Talent & Succession Planning; Performance Management & Coaching; Change Management & Organizational Design; Employee Relations, Labour Law & Headcount/Cost Management.
