Join Aecon Group Inc. as a Tooling Management Coordinator and help manage tooling and inventory for the Shoreline Power Group’s Major Component Replacement program at Bruce Power. Position Overview The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated joint venture of Aecon and AtkinsRéalis located in Kincardine, Ontario. The project replaces major components of six reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station and supports the Life Extension Program to keep CANDU units operating safely through 2064. The Tooling Coordinator reports to the Feeder Tooling Supervisor and oversees material requisition and inventory management processes, ensuring accurate documentation, tracking, and coordination of shipments, tooling, and calibration records to support project and site operations. What You Will Do Here Prepare purchase requisitions and compile related documentation to ensure clarity and completeness with the description of materials, components or equipment, quantity, adherence to quality assurance requirements, inclusion of applicable special purchasing instructions, and ensuring authorization from the project management team to proceed with the purchase. Maintain inventory records, checking CribMaster against inventory, and confirm inventory amounts before new items are ordered to avoid excess. Assist the Feeder Tooling Supervisor with material status updates. Track all requisitions and MRRs on the shared drive and maintain hyperlinks to documentation. Update the shared drive with all shipments from B72 to the station or St. Mary’s when necessary and request shipments to be readied and shipped to site, providing Teamsters with proper shipping documents. Track tooling on the shared drive, keeping all calibrated tooling records up to date. What You Will Bring To The Team 2+ years of office‑related experience with knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable and payroll. Basic accounting knowledge. Experience in the construction industry is an asset. Intermediate level computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel. Experience with SAP is an asset. Ability to work independently, accurate computer data entry and record keeping. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information. Team player, flexible and able to work well with site team members. Multi‑tasking ability and work within time constraints. Punctual and dependable. Strong communication skills; ability to deal tactfully with employees, visitors and customers.
