The Opportunity:This Nursing Unit Clerk is responsible for coordinating the daily staffing of the Nursing Department. This role assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and other staff members. What Is In It For You:• Assists in the coordination of staffing and scheduling needs for the Nursing Department including replacement of staff on a daily "call in" basis and updating staffing changes on the Master Schedule and daily compliments. • Obtains approval for overtime work from the Director of Care. • Maintains attendance/absenteeism reports and communicates any recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care. What You Will Need:* High School diploma or equivalent.* Post-secondary education an asset.* Must have exceptional English communication skills, both orally and in writing.* May be required to obtain and maintain current CPR.Salary Range: $23.69 - $0.00 per hourSalary placement based on qualifications and experience.*This job posting is for an active, open position, and all applications are reviewed by our team without the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
