This is a great opportunity for a business-minded and client-oriented Construction Manager who is looking to grow their career into a new horizon. As a Construction Manager, you will be acting as the client’s Single-Point-Of-Contact, managing the Stakeholder relationship, and directing the senior members of your project team. This is a senior-level project leadership role and you will be responsible for holding your team members to the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Cost, Scope, and Schedule, and executing to the client’s satisfaction. If you have experience in delivering either a portfolio of projects or a single giga project, we are interested in speaking with you. Experience or relevant background in the following industries are an asset, but not mandatory: Data Centers, Pharmaceutical Plants, Laboratories, Industrial Facilities, EV Battery Plants, and Battery Components Manufacturing Plants.
Please note that the project is located in Port Colborne (15 minutes outside Niagara).
You as a Construction Manager will:- Be accountable for overall project performance of one major project (>$100M in value) or a portfolio of smaller projects
- Oversee the design, construction, and warranty handover of projects to ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule objectives
- Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
- Develop and maintain pre-construction schedules, baseline construction schedules, procurement schedules, commissioning and PDI schedules
- Plan, coordinate, and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s)
- Ensure project safety standards, company and client policies, and environmental programs are adhered to
Is this the right role for you?
15+ years supervisory or equivalent experience. Engineering or Construction-related degree/diploma, or an equivalent work experience. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), company policies, procedures, and standards. Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
