Job Title: Project Manager - Building Design Location: Kingston, ON
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager with Ontario building design experience, adept at both design and project management.
Responsibilities:
Develop project proposals, negotiate fees, and ensure client satisfaction.
Formulate and manage project teams for timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Track project progress, communicate updates, and oversee quality control.
Facilitate client meetings, document discussions, and ensure design alignment.
Identify additional scope, negotiate fees, and oversee sub-consultants.
Coordinate contract administration and invoicing, fostering client relationships.
Design Duties:
Design mechanical or electrical projects of varying complexity.
Mentor junior staff and oversee project documentation.
Conduct field reviews and manage construction administration.
Requirements:
Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems management.
Experienced in project and construction management.
Familiarity with construction contract law and pricing projects.
Effective multitasker with problem-solving abilities.
8+ years' experience in building design or construction.
Relevant degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
