High School Vice Principal – 0.5 FTE Position

Pacific Academy is seeking a dynamic, educational leader with a proven record of exemplary teaching and leadership commencing August 20, 2024. This position is 0.5 Vice-Principal and 0.5 teaching in the High School. The successful applicant will work collaboratively as part of the leadership team at Pacific Academy.
The successful candidate will:
- In collaboration with the High School Principal, efficiently and effectively lead in all areas including - education, spiritual, financial and organizational
- Demonstrate personal accountability and professional growth
- Implement innovative practices for student success
- Support the development of competency-based learning
- Use relevant data to engage in instructional practices for improved student achievement
- Have a master’s degree from a recognized university, be working toward a Master’s degree or have relevant administrative experience
- Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
- Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
- Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
- Be fluent in oral and written English
The successful candidate will be:

- Collaboratively-minded, being adept at working with staff across all levels and disciplines
- An exceptional communicator
- Passionate about implementing education from a Biblical worldview
