Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Junior Financial Analyst to join a growing FP&A team with a company that’s expanding its operations through multiple construction and capital projects. As the business scales, there’s a growing need for a dedicated analyst to support day-to-day financial modelling, variance analysis, and project-based performance reporting. This role will play a key part in improving financial visibility and allowing senior team members to focus on more strategic initiatives. Responsibilities Build and maintain financial models to support project forecasting and performance tracking Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial results Assist with regular and ad hoc reporting for leadership and business development teams Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with data-driven inputs Work closely with finance and operations to understand business drivers and trends Help streamline reporting and simplify financial outputs for executive audiences Provide analytical support for new projects, including construction and site-specific initiatives Contribute to the development of tools and templates to improve efficiency Support general FP&A tasks to ensure continuous visibility across departments Requirements 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally in FP&A Strong Excel skills; ability to build and modify financial models Exposure to variance analysis and financial reporting Progress toward a CPA or CFA designation is an asset Detail-oriented with a solid grasp of accounting and finance fundamentals Industry experience in construction, real estate, or capital projects is a strong plus Ability to handle multiple priorities in a growing business environment Remuneration Competitive salary with benefits Estimated salary range up to $85,000, depending on experience Only candidates eligible to work in Canada will be considered #J-18808-Ljbffr
