Web Performance Engineer

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Web Performance Engineer who ensures optimal speed and responsiveness across web, iOS, and Android platforms by defining and maintaining performance budgets and KPIs. They monitor real-time and synthetic performance data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement. This role involves troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for slowdowns across frontend, backend, and network layers. The engineer partners with product and engineering teams to build efficient, fast-loading pages and screens while improving caching, content delivery, and asset-loading strategies. They perform performance testing and profiling using tools like Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and platform-specific profilers, and collaborate with API, CDN, and backend teams to enhance overall responsiveness.
