Finance Manager - Cost Accounting (18-month contract) Join to apply for the Finance Manager - Cost Accounting (18-month contract) role at PepsiCo Overview The PFC Cost Accounting Finance Manager (18-month contract) is responsible for managing the cost accounting function to ensure accurate recording of cost of sales and inventory, including leading the period close process. This includes partnering with cross‑functional teams such as operations, plant performance managers, and supply chain finance to ensure financials are accurate, as well as overseeing the standard costing process for all inventory for Quaker and Frito Lay Canada. The role also plays a critical part in supporting the Quaker PGT implementation and FLC PGT stabilization, and oversees a team of 4 direct and 1 indirect reports. What you can expect from us: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to fit your unique needs A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole‑self to work Inspiring positive change for people and the planet with sustainability goals A supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development Responsibilities Oversee the team managing standard costs for all raw materials, packaging, produced finished goods, and purchased finished goods Lead the period close process for FLC, and support the period close process for Quaker as needed Manage accounting processes for Supply Chain costs including procurement, commodities hedging, manufacturing, and inventory valuation processes, supporting variance investigation and partner communication Ensure compliance with internal accounting processes, procedures, and SOX controls in line with accounting standards Lead the costing AOP process, ensuring all standard costing elements are loaded accurately and timely Support the team through Quaker PGT implementation and FLC PGT stabilization Manage the change agenda as the business evolves (new processes, systems, technology) Manage a team of 5 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA designation required Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system required Strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise on financial transaction reporting related to manufacturing, inventory, and supply‑chain costs, including hedge accounting required Excellent communication skills, able to convey information to employees across the organization from site resources to senior management Strong people‑leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams required Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Ability to embrace change Why work at PepsiCoAt PepsiCo, you’re invited to be a part of a global team of innovators who make, move, and sell these products—which are enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a day.
