MedStaff’s Mission, Vision, and Values. S.R.T. MedStaff is currently seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to work as aHome Support/Personal Support Supervisor in the Greater Toronto Area.Responsibilities:Provide clinical knowledge, support, and supervision for Personal Support staffReview and establish care plans during patient visitsProvide delegated training and identify the educational needs of staff and assist them in achieving learning objectivesComplete and document a safety assessment at the time of patient admission, and assess the environment for safety/risk issues during each patient visitConduct incident investigations as neededParticipate in orientation and educational sessionsParticipate in rotating on-call scheduleConduct probationary reviews and annual performance appraisalsConduct other tasks as assignedQualifications:Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of OntarioGood understanding of the health care services and delivery processes in the communityPrevious experience in supervisory roles in a community setting preferredStrong leadership skillsStrong critical thinking skillsExcellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience with Information Technology: Microsoft Office applications and InternetValid license and reliable vehicle is mandatorySecond language is considered an assetExperience as a Home Support Supervisor, PSW Supervisor, Community Supervisor considered an assetWe thank you for applying to S.R.T.
