You will contribute directly to the ongoing enrichment of our unique multiplayer world, ensuring that every battle remains engaging, balanced, and true to the spirit of For Honor.What you’ll doDesign and evolve combat systems that deliver fair, fun, and strategic multiplayer battlesBalance hero move sets, weapon interactions, and abilities to ensure competitive integrityCollaborate across disciplines to integrate animations, controls, and special effects into fight mechanicsStandardize, document, and communicate fight design specifics with the team; maintain updated referencesPrototype and test new mechanics, gathering quantitative and qualitative feedback to refine ideasWork closely with the Game Design Director to align fight design with the overall creative visionPartner with programmers and technical designers to develop tools that support combat system implementationContribute to overall game design efforts while keeping the focus on the multiplayer combat experienceQUALIFICATIONSWhat you bring to the teamMinimum 5 years of experience in game designProven ability to create, iterate, and balance complex interactive systemsDeep understanding of combat design principles, player psychology, and competitive game flowStrong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teamsActive listening and openness to feedback to refine designsClear and confident communication skills, both written and spokenAbility to adapt quickly and solve design challenges in a live game environmentKnowledge of industry-standard design tools and prototyping methodsWhat to send our wayYour CV highlighting relevant skills and experiencesA portfolio or examples of past design work (combat systems, prototypes, or interactive projects)ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONWe embrace a hybrid work model helping you stay connected with your team and aligned with business priorities, while giving you the opportunity to maintain your work-life balance.
