Our Forensic Accounting team within Advisory Services is growing. We are seeking a Senior Advisor or Director with at least five years of experience in forensic accounting or related fields to join our team in Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Quebec City, or other offices.What You Will DoLead and contribute to the completion of forensic engagements, especially in damages quantificationWrite or review expert reportsObjectively analyze complex financial dataAdvise clientsAct as a recognized resource for all complex issues related to your area of expertiseManage projects within budgets and timelinesAdeptly integrate a range of expertise to meet client needsOversee and coordinate work of a teamMaintain sustained, stable, and long-lasting relationships with clients and serve as a business partnerSeek out engagement opportunities and play an active role in the firm’s business developmentWhat You Bring To The RoleBachelor of Business AdministrationAt least five years' experience in forensic accounting or related disciplines (damage quantification, insurance claims, business valuation, investigation, finance, accounting, auditing)CPA designation (an asset)Forensic specialization with a complementary professional designation such as CBV, CFA, CFE or CFF (an asset)Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and define issues in a clear and articulate manner and develop creative solutions to meet client needsExcellent communication skills in French (written and verbal)Strong writing skills, including the ability to develop detailed technical reports and summariesExcellent ability to manage resources and engagements while collaborating with the partners involved and providing timely and relevant feedback to resourcesExcellent relationship building and management skills with the ability to interact and build credibilityStrong knowledge of the MS Office suite and other relevant softwareBe mobile when needed (Work remotely is possible for this position)Other Relevant SkillsMaster’s Degree in FinanceCFA designationGood knowledge in financial modellingThe selected candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, writing, and simplification skills in English, with the ability to present complex topics to stakeholders located in English-speaking regions of Canada, such as Ontario.Our Values, The KPMG Way: Integrity, Excellence, Courage, Together, For Better.
