Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A (12-month contract) Join us at OTIP (Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan) for a 12‑month contract Senior Financial Analyst role. Job Description Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will drive the financial planning and analysis processes to support strategic decision‑making and enhance business performance. This includes developing and managing budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans, providing insightful analysis and reporting to senior management, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams on key business initiatives. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. The Core Parts Of Your Role Will Be To Financial Planning & Forecasting – support development of annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long‑term plans aligned with strategic goals. Performance Analysis – conduct detailed analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights. Reporting & Presentations – prepare and present financial reports, dashboards and presentations to executive leadership. Strategic Support – collaborate with management and cross‑functional teams on strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, capital investments and cost‑optimization projects. Process Improvement – identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of FP&A activities. Business Partnership – partner with business units to understand financial needs and support decision‑making to drive growth and efficiency. Qualifications Education – CPA or other recognized accounting designation; bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or related field. Experience – 3–5 years in FP&A, corporate finance or related field; senior finance role preferred. Technical Skills – proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, analysis; advanced Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI is an asset. Other Skills – strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
