Presidio is a leading Bay Area based Shopify Plus development firm specializing in design, platform migration, theme development, and conversion optimization. With over 9 years of experience, we have supported over 500 Shopify stores and our official Shopify themes have been purchased by nearly 4,000 merchants.

We have three parts to our business:

Agency - this is where we provide high touch support for some of the leading Shopify Plus brands. We're looking for support with promoting the work we've done via email, blog & social channels.

Apps - we also build custom Shopify apps that have over 5,000 customers. Those apps include Quiz Kit ( and Duplify ( We'd like to amplify our social presence for each of these apps, specifically Quiz Kit.

Themes - we also have built and manage 4 of the largest themes on the Shopify theme store. We'd like to do more to promote our apps and agency work to the people that purchase our apps.

What we're specifically looking for help with:

  • Developing a GTM strategy for the various apps.

  • Helping define a roadmap for how we market our agency work & app work.

  • Managing our website and helping come up with a plan for a series of blog posts to promote recent work, market insights, etc... We don't need you writing each blog post, but we do need help making sure they get done.

  • Helping us select the right tools for getting this all done. We currently use Mailchimp for email marketing and Mantle + Google Sheets for contact management.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Head of Product Marketing. As the Head of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for conducting market analysis and research, developing and executing sales enablement strategies, and leading go-to-market initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches and ensure marketing efforts align with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in market analysis and market research
  • Proven track record in sales enablement and go-to-market strategy
  • Strong background in marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the e-commerce industry, particularly with Shopify, is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
