You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, internal teams, and third-party vendors.As a senior member of the Murex Support Team, you'll guide Functional Analysts, review configurations and code pre-deployment, and ensure smooth platform operation. You'll manage data integration, oversee end-of-day/week processing, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Bring your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve efficiencies and thrive under pressure.**What you'll be doing:*** **Support and empower the business** – Help multiple teams maximize their use of the Murex application and leverage its outputs effectively* **Mentor and guide** – Coach Murex Functional Analysts on configuration and testing best practices* **Ensure quality** – Review complex code and configurations, especially for critical integration points* **Facilitate audits and reporting** – Support audit processes, vendor reporting, and third-party verification* **Provide strategic input** – Contribute technical expertise at senior/executive meetings and help shape proposals and project plans* **Lead vendor partnerships** – Drive discussions with key vendors like Murex as needed* **Drive solutions using agile methods** – Gather requirements, propose design options with trade-offs, and break work into manageable, value-driven increments* **Configure and document** – Build detailed configurations and maintain clear documentation* **Lead implementation** – Guide iterative testing and work with stakeholders through UAT to go-live* **Work autonomously** – Follow C1 processes for documentation, configuration, release management, and incident resolution* **Troubleshoot with partners** – Collaborate with external vendors (Murex, Bloomberg) to resolve issues and outages* **Collaborate across IT** – Partner with QA, developers, and application support teams* **Manage upgrades** – Oversee testing of Murex upgrades and patches* **Develop technical solutions** – Create and modify scripts, SQL queries, and other technical components* **Configure financial instruments** – Set up instruments from simple to complex, ensuring accurate financial behavior and cash flows aligned with market standards and C1 practices* **Solve complex problems** – Debug and resolve unusual behavior across the Murex ecosystem, including Treasury Connect and integration points**What you'll have:****Murex Mx3 Expertise** You'll need in-depth knowledge of Murex Mx3 through formal training or hands-on experience in:* DataMart concepts and reporting configuration* MXML Workflows (contract, exchange, mail, deliverables)* Pre-trade and post-trade workflow development and debugging* Market data integration and setup* Front Office configuration including trading/pricing, simulation views, risk analytics, and pricing for futures, forwards, swaps, options, MBS, and other fixed income instruments* Accounting rules and workflows* Liquidation Module, Murex Limit Controller, VaR/EMRM* Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, engineering, computer science)* Significant experience with at least one end-to-end system implementation* 3-5 years of IT experience in system implementation, reporting, and product testing**Treasury & Financial Markets Knowledge*** Solid understanding of treasury operations, trade and debt instruments, market processes, finance operations, accounting, cash management, settlement, and confirmation processes* Deep knowledge of the complete trade lifecycle (mandatory)* Prior derivatives and capital markets experience from working in risk, trading, or treasury functions at a large bank* Ability to perform cash flow analysis and connect pricing of financial products to P&L and accounting**Core Competencies*** Strong time management and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment* Creative problem-solver who develops innovative solutions* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across Front Office, Trading Desk, Back Office, Finance, and Risk Management* Solid grasp of software development lifecycle with agile/iterative development experience* Experience with system implementations, upgrades, change management, and test management**Technical Skills*** Excel, Word, SQL, Linux, UNIX, Shell scripting, Web Services, APIs* JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, BitBucket**Nice to have:*** Sybase / Oracle* Java Scripting and general coding experience* Tableau**Salary range:** $100,000-$118,000The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role.
