Murex Business Analyst (Front-to-Back Capital Markets) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Murex Business Analyst with strong front‑to‑back functional expertise to support and enhance the Murex platform across the full trade lifecycle. This role spans Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Accounting, Risk, Reporting, Custody, and Collateral Management, supporting a broad range of Capital Markets products. The candidate will assess the current Murex implementation, gather and define business requirements, support configuration and integrations, and drive end‑to‑end delivery in close collaboration with business, operations, risk, finance, and technology teams. Key Responsibilities Front Office / Trade Entry Gather and document requirements for trade capture, pricing, booking workflows, and validations. Support Murex FO workflows, trade lifecycles, and market data usage. Ensure coverage for FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, MBS, Swaps, and Repos. Middle Office Design STP workflows, enrichment rules, exception handling, and repair queues. Define confirmations, settlement instructions, and lifecycle events. Support limits checks and P&L attribution where applicable. Back Office Define settlement processing, cash flows, and Nostro/Vostro operations. Support netting, batching, cut‑offs, reconciliations, and EOD controls. Align operational processes and procedures. Accounting Map products and trade events to accounting rules and chart of accounts. Align with IFRS/GAAP requirements. Support GL integrations and month‑end close activities. Reporting Design regulatory, management, and operational reports. Define data lineage, controls, SLAs, and auditability requirements. Configure Market Limits Control (MLC) frameworks and breach workflows. Support VaR methodologies, back‑testing, stress testing, and scenario analysis. Coordinate market data inputs and model governance. Custody Define custody workflows, settlement status tracking, and position reconciliations. Support SWIFT messaging, fails management, and corporate actions. Implement VM/IM margining, eligibility rules, haircuts, and dispute management. Configure collateral calls, settlement, and CSA/GMSLA alignment. Integrations & Delivery Support integrations with State Street, Treasury systems, Workday, SharePoint, and CI/CD tools. Produce BRDs, FRDs, configuration matrices, and interface specifications. Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and support go‑live activities. Maintain product backlog, RAID logs, and delivery governance. Top 3 Skills Required Strong Murex Front‑to‑Back Functional Expertise (FO, MO, BO, Accounting, Risk, Collateral, Custody) Murex Configuration & Functional Design Experience enabling seamless developer implementation. Deep Capital Markets Domain Knowledge across FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, MBS, Swaps, and Repos.
