As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Supervisor, Payroll and Benefits, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of payroll administrators and human resources professionals.This is aexistingposition.Click here fora detailed look at the position description.What You’ll DoYou’ll act with integrity to:Provide integrated services for the calculation and processing of payroll, benefits, pension, pension adjustment, and attendance for an assigned client group following statutory, systems, policies and administrative requirements.Ensure efficient delivery, update, and maintain benefit informationEnsure data accuracy, compliance, and coordinate with external vendorsAdminister LTIP, handle third-party reporting, and T4/T4A reproductionYou’ll support our collaboration as you:Verify and process employee changes (hires, leaves, terminations, benefits, pensions).Calculate salaries, severances, over/underpayments, and pension contributions.Maintain accurate records of absences, entitlements, and year-end carry-overs.Support benefit and pension administration, including LTIP and buybacks.Reconcile and produce reports for third-party vendors and assist with T4/T4A processes.Liaise with HR and external agencies to resolve payroll and benefits inquiries.Maintain employee files and ensure data confidentiality.Complete Records of Employment and perform related administrative tasks.How You QualifyYou demonstrate excellence through your:1–2 years of payroll/benefits/pension experienceKnowledge of relevant legislation and collective agreementsExperience with HRIS and Microsoft Excel/WordUnderstanding of payroll year-end and general ledger processesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsEffective communicator with attention to detailAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentialityHere’s what awaits you:A team of dedicated professionalsA comprehensive benefit and pension package including a comprehensive short term sickness plan and personal daysSupport for your career through training and developmentAccess to an employee and family assistance programIf you share our values and are interested in this position, select the "Apply Now or Sign In to Apply" at the bottom of the page.Join us in shaping the future of Ontario's Legislative Assembly.
