Overview Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education Annapolis West Education Centre Student Supervisor - 1.50 hours per day Closing date for applications: February 9, 2026 at midnight Wages: $18.38 per hour Terms and conditions of employment, including wages, are in accordance with the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU) Local 73 Bargaining Unit. Student supervisors provide indoor and/or outdoor general student supervision.
Qualifications
Develop and maintain positive rapport with students. Current CPR and First Aid training. Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents. Ability to exercise good judgment and take initiative.
Bona fide occupational requirements of the position, including physical ability.
Responsibilities
Provide supervision for students before and after school, during the lunch and recess breaks. Familiarization of any medical or programs students may have (e.g. specific behaviour plans). Report to the principal or designate any problem or discipline issue that occurred during supervision. Other duties that are site specific (policies and protocol) and within the scope of responsibility of the position.
