Do you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and closing sales, all from an inside sales setting?We’re looking for an Inside Sales Representative to support our growing residential customer base. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales opportunities, guiding customers through the sales process, and delivering a one-call solution whenever possible. You’ll play a key role in converting leads into loyal customers while contributing to retention and long-term growth.No propane experience? No problem. We’ll provide the training and tools you need to succeed. Your drive, resilience, and customer-first mindset are what matter most.What You’ll Be DoingValidate and qualify inbound leads from customer experience (CX) calls, website inquiries, and social media channelsDistribute and manage leads using our CRM systemConvert residential customers, including tank swap and customer conversion opportunitiesDeliver a one-call solution by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate propane solutionsConduct outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunitiesFollow up with customers after proposal submissions to close salesSupport customer retention efforts, including handling more complex or challenging customer conversationsTrack all sales activities, leads, and follow-ups accurately in the CRMParticipate in additional sales activities and projects as assignedWhat You BringA self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer skills and comfort working with multiple systemsPrevious sales experience is an assetAbility to cold call and proactively generate sales opportunitiesComfort handling objections, rejection, and conflict resolutionAbility to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with CRM systems is an assetExperience in propane, HVAC, or related industries is a strong assetCompensation & ScheduleTotal OTE: Approximately $45,000 - $65,000 annuallySchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with additional hours as requiredReady to Join Us?If you’re excited about building a sales career in a supportive, growth-focused environment, and enjoy helping customers find reliable energy solutions, we want to hear from you.Apply today and take the next step with Avenir Energy.Avenir Energy is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
