**Responsibilities**:

- Install and maintain a wide variety of propane appliances and storage equipment.
- Provide expert service and maintenance to various brands of heating equipment in the field, ensuring customer systems run efficiently and safely.
- Participate in **on-call shifts** during regular and off-business hours to ensure timely customer service and issue resolution.
- Plan and execute service calls efficiently, ensuring all work is completed on time and to customer satisfaction.
- Promote company offerings to customers, identifying sales opportunities during service calls to help meet branch revenue targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, explaining repairs, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Complete all required paperwork, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies and safety protocols, including the use of **personal protective equipment (PPE)**, to ensure all tasks are performed safely.
- Conduct **site-specific hazard assessments** as required by company safety policies and report any unsafe acts or conditions when identified.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle inspections to ensure company vehicles are in proper working order, clean, and presentable to uphold the company image.
- Uphold the highest standards of service and safety while representing **Avenir Energy** in the field.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum **G2 certification** required, with a willingness to acquire **LP endorsement** within the first 18 months of employment.
- ** Other trade certificates** (e.g., air conditioning, sheet metal, etc.) are considered an asset.
- Minimum of **2 years of experience** in a service technician role, ideally with multi-certificate qualifications.
- Strong **customer service skills** with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive client relationships.
- Clean driving record is a must; **DZ license** is considered an asset.
- Ability to promote and “up-sell” company services during service calls, helping to drive branch performance and customer satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while following company guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
