As a Long‑Term Occasional Teacher (LTO) for DDSB, you’ll create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where students thrive. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and support student learning. Assess and monitor student progress späni feedback to help students grow. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to enhance student learning. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students. Qualifications And Additional Information Required subject qualifications: Special Education Part 1 FTE: 1.0 Semester 2 only Grade(s)/assignment: 9–12 Tentative course codes (if known): PLP (3 sections) Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing Secondary LTO Salary Range: $57,986 to $119,967 per year (Placement on salary grid is based on QECO rating and teaching experience.
