Dual Credit Support Teacher for Welding and Cutting Processes Join to apply for the Dual Credit Support Teacher for Welding and Cutting Processes role at Bluewater District School Board. Location: Georgian College, Owen Sound Campus Dates: February 12, 2026 to May 21, 2026 Reports to: Kathy Archer, Learning Services Administrator Salary Range: Continuing Education Hourly Rate Duties and Responsibilities Support student success in a college‑delivered dual credit course on Thursday evenings between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Georgian College in Owen Sound Maximum 56 hours Work with Georgian College to provide orientation for participating students Connect regularly with assigned students, ensuring they meet the academic requirements of the college course Support student access to appropriate resources Prepare forms as outlined in board policy Collect and submit data as required Coordinate the exchange of academic progress information (marks and attendance) between the college and secondary school staff to support student success Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Experience Secondary teacher in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers Assets Special education qualifications A sound philosophy of education and knowledge in a variety of Ontario secondary curriculum areas An understanding of teaching, learning, and assessment strategies, Growing Success, and Learning For All Excellent leadership, administrative, and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills Experience working effectively as a team member Experience working with students who are at‑risk Experience coordinating services Reliable internet access Job Requirements Clean driver's abstract Access to a reliable vehicle Eligible to work in Canada Clean vulnerable sector police check Application Process Qualified applicants are invited to apply for this position online using Apply to Education (ATE) at the provided link.
