The RoleThe Director of Sales & Marketing will own global sales performance and marketing strategy while playing a critical role in launching the brand’s Toronto retail location. A core mandate of this role is to accelerate wholesale growth, with a clear objective of generating an additional $200,000 in wholesale revenue season over season.This role combines:Strategic and creative marketing oversightHands-on involvement in retail expansionCross-functional leadership across e-commerce, wholesale, retail, and brandYou will be responsible not just for strategy, but for turning vision into execution - building systems, deepening retail relationships, and leading teams toward measurable, profitable growth.Own all sales targets and KPIs across e-commerce, retail, wholesale, and partnershipsLead the development and execution of a new wholesale strategyDrive $200K+ in incremental wholesale revenue season over season through new account acquisition, improved sell-through, and deeper partnerships with existing retailersOversee trade show participation, private showrooms, and in-market sales initiativesDevelop pricing strategy, margin management, forecasting, and sales planningOversee inventory performance across channels to support healthy sell-throughBuild, track, and report on sales dashboards and performance metricsCollaborate closely with leadership on budgeting, financial planning, and growth forecastingMarketing Strategy & Brand GrowthOwn the global marketing strategy, ensuring alignment between brand storytelling and revenue goalsOversee all marketing channels, including:Digital & paid mediaEmail marketing and CRMSocial media and content strategyInfluencer, affiliate, and partnership programsPR, brand activations, and eventsEnsure strong return on marketing investment (ROAS, CAC, LTV)Partner with creative leadership to evolve brand direction while maintaining consistencyGuide seasonal campaigns, product launches, and evergreen brand storytellingToronto Store Launch & Retail ExpansionLead the planning and execution of the Toronto store opening and any future retail expansionsOversee all retail launch components, including:Sales forecasting and budgetingStaffing and training strategyLocal marketing, PR, and community outreachIn-store experience, events, and opening campaignsEstablish operational systems that align Toronto with existing retail and brand standardsSupport ongoing performance optimization post-launchStrategic Planning & Executive CollaborationAct as a senior strategic partner to the executive teamContribute to long-term growth planning, market expansion, and brand positioningSupport grant writing, partnerships, and strategic initiatives where relevantWho You AreYou are:A senior commercial leader with experience owning revenue and growthEqually comfortable in strategy decks and spreadsheets as you are in creative conversationsHighly organized, decisive, and accountableEnergized by independent brands, retail, and hands-on leadershipComfortable working in an evolving, entrepreneurial environmentRequired Experience8–10+ years in sales, marketing, or commercial leadership rolesProven experience managing multi-channel sales (e-commerce, retail, wholesale)Strong understanding of digital marketing performance and analyticsDemonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projectsNice to HaveFashion, apparel, or consumer brand experienceExperience scaling an independent or founder-led brandWhy This Role MattersEliza Faulkner is entering a pivotal phase of growth and is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to drive revenue, shape brand strategy, and expand the business across all channels, with a strong emphasis on scaling wholesale.
