As a progressive and vibrant healthcare organization, we arecommitted to being an innovative center of excellence in community hospital care.Job DescriptionWorking within the inter-professional WSIB Specialized Care program the Registered Kinesiologist will provide exercise assessment and re-assessment (as appropriate), treatment including assisting with the development and progression of a patient exercise and work hardening programs, and education to progress individuals with work-related injuries to reach their goals. In addition, this role will support interdisciplinary care through attending rounds, setting goals, preparing and completing reports in alignment with program and professional standards. The Kinesiologist supports patient education utilizing adult learning principles and motivational interviewing techniques.QualificationsCurrent registration with and a member in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of OntarioUndergraduate degree in Kinesiology from a recognized universityMinimum of 3 years direct exercise instructional/progression related experience with WSIB worker populationExcellent goal setting, exercise progression and assessment skillsWorking knowledge of adult learning principles and coaching techniquesAbility to establish effective relationships with patients and team membersExperience with organizing, coordinating and overseeing large volumes of patients in a short period of timeProven ability to multitask, prioritize, and leverage sound clinical decision-makingExcellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbalProven ability to work in an interdisciplinary teamExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Power Point)Additional InformationHours: Monday - Sunday, 7.5 Days(hours subject to change based on operational needs of the department)Salary: $39.415 - $50.772 per hourDate Posted: January 15, 2026REF3079THalton Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer who is committed to integrating diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our operations, policies and culture.
