Reporting to the Executive Director, Patient Safety and Experience, the Director is responsible for contributing to the development, and achievement of strategy, by articulating gaps and needs. The Director supports strategy through operational and business plans and the execution and monitoring of same. The Director demonstrates strong leadership to ensure that there is an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Director must work cross functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to support operations. The Director will work closely with other system partners. Experience Experience leveraging technology to implement business transformation strategies Experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment Experience in developing measurement, monitoring and reporting frameworks Seven (7) years leadership experience Experience in strategy, policy development, project and program management Education A degree acceptable by the employer with relevant experience Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable Master's degree preferred Competencies Advanced - Communication skills Advanced - Interpersonal skills Advanced - Capability to transform systems: Encourage and support innovation Knowledge and Abilities Proven ability to collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholders Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action committed to quality, safety and striving towards zero harm Able to balance needs/interest of diverse groups & maintain strategic priorities Committed to delivering on patient and family centred care Has demonstrated strong critical thinking, financial and analytical skills Ability to articulate mission, vision and strategy and charts a path forward.
