Compensation Information$19.00 per hourPhysical RequirementMedium, Indoor and Outdoor.Walking, standing, bending, crouching and twisting for periods of time.Ability to work in various conditions, including inside the shop, underground in the garage space, and outside.Exposure to heat, rain, smoke, and noise.Lifting – Exerting 20+ kg of strength occasionally, and/or 10 kg of strength frequently or constantly to move objects.Perks and BenefitsWinter/Summer Season Lift, Trail and Golf passes (varies by position)Access to our Employee and Family Assistance ProgramDining discounts within our hotel & Resort-owned outletsRetail discounts in our Resort-owned outletsFriends and family rates at the Sun Peaks Grand HotelReciprocal programs with partnering ski areas & hotelsSkills You BringPrevious experience in golf industry, guest service, or retail.Strategic decision-making, conflict resolution and organizational skills.Team player who can demonstrate professional communication and respectful collaboration.Familiar with operating a Point of Sale and Tee Sheet Management System.Self-motivated with the ability to respond and manage multiple demands (anticipate and respond).Valid Driver’s License.Primary ResponsibilitiesUnderstand, follow, and enforce golf policies and procedures to ensure smooth, consistent, and efficient operations.Manage all bookings, rentals, sales, and payments through the Point-of-Sale System as trained.Ensure all guests have completed relevant information, e‑mail, credit card, and waivers.Responsible for cleaning, charging, and staging power cart fleet.Ensure Pro Shop and outside service areas are clean, safe and presentable through regular cleaning.Obtain strong knowledge of all products and their benefits to assist guests with purchasing decisions.Greet and interact with members, guests, and staff in a respectful, courteous and efficient manner.Perform daily inspections and account for cart and club rentals.Record keeping; monitor and report any damage or concerns immediately.Operate according to the code of conduct, mission, and values of Sun Peaks Resort LLP and Golf Operations.Health and Safety; immediate action required when concerns arise.
