How you'll make an impact at Paula's Choice The Account Coordinator (AC) is a cosmetics retail focused individual who partners with their leader to drive sales revenue in a multi‑door, micro‑territory. This role is responsible for building strong retailer relationships, training, and coaching in‑store associates, modeling successful side‑by‑side selling in stores, planning and executing in‑store events, maintaining and upholding merchandising standards, plus leading promotional activities and product launch initiatives to reach sales targets at Sephora. As a Cosmetics Retail focused Account Coordinator, a typical day might include a mix of the following: Strategy/Administrative In partnership with leader, develop territory strategy to reach Sephora sales target and provide growth YOY, assuring focus on elevating the brand awareness to reach maximum ROI. Plan and execute territory event door strategy to provide YOY growth and deliver weekly results and feedback to leadership. Plan, schedule, and execute territory call cycle for maximum business growth. Track sales and training performance and communicate opportunities to leader. Participate in Monthly B&M meetings and communicate any business opportunities within territory. Maintain organization to ensure deadlines are being met, including but not limited to calendars, T&E budgets, weekly sales recaps, event recaps, store visit recaps, store visit schedules, travel bookings and other administrative responsibilities. HR/Communication Participate in regular touch bases with team to assure strong communication and partnership alignment. Diplomatically address and resolve any store level challenges to maintain strong relationships and ensure solid brand integrity. Training Support Participate in product training webinars, in‑person trainings and special education focused events to build expertise in the brand and category. Execute successful implementation of all sales and training support tools in regard to new product launches and daily in‑store visits to achieve 5‑star service survey scores. In partnership with the leader and Education team, support the execution of elevated training opportunities. Sales Support Plan and execute in‑store events like HUB & Brand Experience events and provide in‑store partnership to achieve sales targets. Partner with stores to plan and execute successful Event‑in‑a‑Box events. Communicate all store level feedback in a timely manner. Maintain the highest level of standards to all visual merchandising guidelines and in‑store activations. Conduct regular business reviews with in‑store retail partners to communicate trending business and negotiate elevated store training opportunities and event strategies to drive retail sales growth. Manage any out of stock or visual merchandising needs with retail partners, while following all retailer brand guidelines. The Details Hours: Full‑time role that will require flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and some holidays Physical requirements: Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand up to 8 hours on your feet in stores Travel requirements: Up to 80 % travel, territories can vary based on geographical areas and are subject to change based on business needs (*Transportation costs policy will be covered in the interview process) 20% Office/ Administrative Time: Store Communications, onboarding & ongoing training, booking in‑store visits, expense reports, store visit and event recaps, etc. One annual cross‑border travel trip with overnight stays is required for company conference This Canada‑based role is located in the Greater Ottawa Area. Successful candidates must reside within the territory and possess practical knowledge of local transportation and mobility requirements. This is a retail facing position and not a spa/medical sale focused role What you'll bring to the table 2+ years minimum of beauty industry experience or equivalently relevant qualified experience 1+ years minimum of managing a multi‑door, multi‑retailer territory 1+ years minimum of retail sales and training experience in a Sephora environment Ability to travel within your region 80% of the time Must have proof of insurance, current and valid driver's license, and reliable means of transportation Knowledge of skincare, cosmetics, clinical techniques, and procedures, along with business terminology 1+ years Sephora EDU portal OLR/ scheduling experience Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays Superior selling skills with proven ability to set and achieve sales goals Effective and engaging training skills that deliver consistent sales results Proven ability to build relationships, drive sales and provide outstanding customer service Exceptional time management skills Ability to work both autonomously as well as with a team Strong analytical skills Ability to quickly learn new technology and effectively use that technology to meet the demands of the role Experience with Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook Flexible and amenable to changes in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Must be able to multi‑task while accommodating changing priorities Note: Benefit breakdown specific to CA market and full‑time Paula's Choice employees to be covered within the interview process Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location 65,000 - 70,000 CAD/annually Paula's Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
