Senior SAP FICO Consultant

OverviewInfosys is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant. This position requires a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.Basic QualificationsCandidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario / Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Preferred QualificationsAt least 6 years of experience in SAP FICO, including 2 years' experience in full-life cycle implementation projects.Worked on FI-Logistics processes like buy-sell process, third party shipment, intercompany transactions etc.In-depth knowledge and Hands On expertise in configuring FICO modules GL, AP, AR, Rev RecognitionGood knowledge in CO areas like cost center accounting, profit center accounting, COPA.Solid understanding of the integration with MM and SD is essentialGood understanding of EDI/IDocs, process codes, partner profiles, etc.Experienced in writing detailed functional specifications, prepare test scenarios, write test scripts and perform end-to-end testingWorked closely with ABAP, Basis, Data Warehouse and other teams in design and implementation of SAP FI functionalitiesAccounting background and good process knowledge is highly preferred.SAP Certification/CA/CPA/MBA finance is an added advantageAnalytical and communication skillsGood planning and coordination skillsExperience and desire to work in a management-consulting environmentThe job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
