You’ll collaborate with our consultants and directly support clients by creating high-quality, well-structured documents that reflect their vision and meet their needs.Your responsibilities will include:Writing and editing custom business plansPreparing financial projections, including startup costs, income statements, and cash flow forecastsConducting and summarizing market research and competitor analysisTranslating client interviews and notes into clear, organized written materialsOccasionally supporting with website copy or blog content, if interestedYou’ll be expected to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay in close communication with our team as projects move forward.What We’re Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you should bring a balance of business knowledge and strong communication skills. You’re someone who enjoys learning about different industries, solving problems, and helping others succeed.Requirements: Degree in Business Administration or a related field Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Experience with business writing (business plans, proposals, reports, etc.) Ability to prepare clear, logical financial projections Comfortable conducting and summarizing market research Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesNice to Have:Familiarity with small business startups and Canadian entrepreneurshipExperience writing business plans for immigration purposes (e.g. LMIA, PNP)Comfort working with newcomer or multilingual clientsWhy Join StartCan?At StartCan, you’re not just completing writing tasks—you’re part of a mission.
