Job Title Quality Assurance Coordinator - Montreal Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area Main Functions Key responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but may not be limited to: Manage and keep up to date the HACCP program in place Maintain and update the quality manual in place and contribute to the development and maintenance of the divisional quality manual to keep compliant with BRCGS standards forms 2nd party audits of suppliers, warehouses and subcontractors as needed Support documentation requests from customers and manage controlled documents (Quality questionnaires, documentation, etc. to support the documentation specialist) Participate in the management, update and organization of the SharePoint platform Coordinate customer audits for LBS operations and productions Support the review and update of technical documents, procedures, and other controlled documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance Participate in reviewing and updating training plans to address continuous improvement objectives Participate in complaint investigations and resolutions for LBS North America Perform any other task relating to documentation control and quality assurance Collect and analyze data to prepare statistical reports for management review Required Technical Skills B.Sc. or technical degree in food science, microbiology, biology, biochemistry or another relevant field Experience in food quality and safety Knowledge of BRCGS Agents & Brokers, HACCP, and GFSI standards Proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with SharePoint is a plus Assets Experience with food regulatory affairs (USA, Canada) is a plus Knowledge of enzymes and of the baking process is a plus Experience in documentation control and audit preparation Personal Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem solving abilities Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems General Criteria Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams Company Overview Lallemand is a privately held Canadian company founded in the late 19th century, which develops, produces, and markets microorganisms for various markets.
