Marketing Director at Lanterra Developments Ltd. Organization: Breast Cancer Support Fund Location: Remote (with occasional in-person meetings, as needed) Commitment: Flexible, approximately 5–10 hours per month Start Date: Immediate About Us: The Breast Cancer Support Fund (BCSF) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment. With 76% of our beneficiaries living on less than $25,000 per year, our mission is to help women in financial need focus on healing rather than the financial burden of their diagnosis. We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Fundraiser to help expand our donor base, strengthen relationships with supporters, and drive sustainable revenue growth for our programs. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about community impact and excited to help a small but mighty charity grow. Key Responsibilities: Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies and campaigns. Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and community groups. Assist in securing sponsorships, in-kind donations, and workplace giving opportunities. Support donor stewardship efforts (thank-you emails, impact updates, engagement touchpoints). Research fundraising opportunities including events, grant programs, and cause-marketing partners. Attend or help coordinate fundraising events as needed. Collaborate with the Board Fundraising Committee and ED to meet annual revenue goals. Skills & Qualifications: Experience in fundraising, donor relations, sales, or nonprofit development an asset. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable reaching out to potential partners and representing BCSF in a professional, compassionate way. Organized, proactive, and motivated by impact.
