As a full time Rehabilitation Assistant at our Downsview Orthopaedic and Arthritis Center, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.Act as a liaison between the client and the PhysiotherapistAssist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloadsAssemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storageProcess and perform clerical audits for discharged patient chartsMaintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazardsMail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their familiesAdministrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documentsUploading service provider reportsWhat You Need To Be SuccessfulA Kinesiology degree, PTA/OTA diploma or international Physiotherapy degreeExceptional interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong critical thinking and time management skillsExcellent communication and computer skillsThe ability to work under pressure and to take and follow directionThe ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentStrong organizational skillsWhat CBI Health Offers YouTraining and mentoring from a national network of expertsCompetitive compensation with comprehensive benefits and rewards package, including group health, dental and vision benefits, paid 100% by the employerFlexible hours, which allow work-life balance and focus on quality of lifeAbout UsFor millions of Canadians, CBI Health is where better begins.
