This full-time role entails collaborating with experts in electrical design while managing planning and design activities. You will work on considerable substation projects, ensuring quality engineering services and successful project completion. This position also offers a unique chance to mentor junior engineers in a flexible work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct engineering studies and perform power flow analysis
• Develop detailed designs including layouts and grounding plans
• Prepare specifications for equipment procurement and testing
• Support construction and commissioning phases
• Conduct site visits for project scope verification
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems
• At least 6 years of experience with high voltage substations
• Must have Professional Engineer registration (P.
Eng)
• Familiarity with PSSE, PSCAD, and relevant software
• Valid driver’s license Enhance your engineering career while contributing to clean energy initiatives at Stantec.
