Reporting directly to the Director of this dynamic, forward thinking, growing SME business. In Return You’ll Receive: £55,000 - £65,000 Depending on Experience Discretionary Bonus Private Medical 25 days + Bank Holidays On-site canteen and free parking Long term development with the role Responsibilities: Autonomous role supporting the Directors, being the business’s financial conscience and strategic thinker Day to day management and development of the Finance team Overseeing the production of the monthly management accounts, MI and board packs Completing the weekly flash reports to give up-to-date insight Working collaboratively with the management team and Directors Review, develop and lead an accurate costing process, including NPD costing Cashflow management and forecasting Managing invoice discounting facility and reporting requirements to the bank Provide accurate analytical and financial reporting and identify and report opportunities Responsible for year end and statutory accounts reporting Ensuring strong financial controls and governance are in place Lead projects around CI of accounting processes, automation, reporting and controls Financial modelling for with business strategy, capital investments and expansion plans Leading on inventory including stock takes, stock and wastage reporting Lead the budgeting and forecasting process Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Take a lead on company that require strategic financial insight Assist with technical accounting queries raised within the business in a professional, commercially driven and accurate manner Key requirements: Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA Energy and drive to play a strategic role in a fast-growing SME business and achieve results Ability to challenge the ‘norm’ and influence decisions Inspirational leader, someone who can bring people forward and elevate Passion to influence and make impact Continuous improvement mentality, ability to drive and implement controls, reporting and processes If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Head of Finance opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
