Senior Project Manager, IDE Systems

The Senior Project Manager, IDE Systems, will be primarily responsible for project management in-line with the four pillars of scope, schedule, cost and risk related to the Integrated Data Environment (IDE) Systems projects, deliverables and initiatives.This role will lead the collaboration on all elements of IT development and integration between internal and external stakeholders on the River Class Destroyer Program. Additionally, the role would also contribute to developing, improving and validating plans, processes and policies needed to deliver River Class Destroyer IDE scope.QualificationsBachelors’ degree with a focus on project management, business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, or computer science/programming.PMP or suitable alternative education/designation (ie. MBA, extensive project mgmt work experience)Program Delivery Knowledge regarding, Budget Management, Risk Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Change Management, Project Management, Reporting and Metrics.Strong understanding of shipbuilding and Program management10+ years in shipbuilding or warship operationsTechnical project and risk management experienceDue to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.ResponsibilitiesManage performance of the IDE Systems Engineering delivery by leading regular stakeholder reviews (scope, cost, schedule, risk).Ensures customer expectations are aligned and executed and manage external communicationManages critical project communications and internal reporting at Director level or equivalentAccountable for IDE Risk ManagementChange Management: Interfaces with the enterprise to manage change that impacts the IDE Systems and interfacesManage planned and emergent work within their assigned job scopeAccountable for the Program execution of the Project Management Plan and Operating Plan #J-18808-Ljbffr
