The commercial collections driver at Miller Waste Systems is responsible to operate all types of waste collection vehicles to complete various waste stream collection from residential and commercial customers. The main truck used is a rear-load compactor. Collections streams may include recycling, waste, paper/cardboard, and organics from both residential locations and commercial customers.
You will provide customers with reliable and high-quality customer service as the proper disposal of the waste streams are vital to the health and well-being of the residents of the community that you are servicing.
You will collect and transport the various waste streams to local transfer stations, compost facilities or landfill sites in an efficient and appropriate manner. You will do this while adhering to the collection and delivery schedule while following all relevant policies and procedures of the Company, the DOT, Department of Environment as well as the by-laws of the Municipality in which you are working.
All candidates must have a valid Class 3 or higher driver’s license, with a respectable driver's abstract . You must be a team player, and with safe working habits and a clean driving record. You must be available to work Saturdays and/or holidays as required on a rotation.
