Bilingual (Fr/En) Health & Benefits Consultant – Canada Life Permanent Full‑Time Freedom Experience is about building trust through every interaction we have with our plan members, representing a shift in our organization’s mindset. We proactively identify, understand and deliver products and experiences to meet plan member needs using new tools, processes and data. This new role drives the vision of a member‑focused solutions centre, leading projects and business resources to execute our strategy. What You Will Do Consult & Guide Engage customers via inbound conversations, virtual meetings (phone or video) and on‑site visits to strategic clients. Gather plan member objectives and deliver personalized consultations detailing solutions best suited to health‑planning needs. Provide guidance, advice and professional account management to enhance member well‑being. Leverage training model and sales‑enablement supports to identify member needs and navigate appropriate next steps. Maintain provincial licences in good standing and meet ongoing training, licensing and supervision requirements. Provide Best‑in‑Class Guidance Engage customers with website & application enrollment, claims submissions, benefits review, portable benefits and individual health products; resolve issues and identify strategies and options. Identify products and solutions that meet customers’ needs and record engagement in internal systems. Answer operational and procedural inquiries from plan members via calls. Identify and close sales opportunities. Provide education and advice on planning and related topics. Be a Team Player Participate in regular reviews, lessons learned and retrospectives to ensure approaches meet member needs. Provide consistent feedback to leadership and work with compliance partners to meet provincial requirements. Support other duties as assigned: team meetings, product seminars, training sessions, compliance meetings and special initiatives. What You Will Bring Bilingual (fluent in French and English). 2+ years of sales experience. Valid life insurance license (LLQP) or willingness to obtain within three months of hire. Deep product knowledge of Life, Health and personalized products. Working toward or completion of relevant certification such as CEBS or CHS. Positive, customer‑oriented attitude. Passion for advice and solutions. Post‑secondary degree or equivalent experience. Superior communication skills. Ability to thrive in ambiguous or uncharted areas; comfortable with uncertainty and change. Excellent organization, prioritization and planning skills. Availability for shifts between 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET, Monday‑Friday. Reliability Status Security Clearance (conducted after offer). Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $52,800 – $97,700 annually. Includes potential variable compensation (bonus, commission) within the total rewards program. Location Positions may be located at any of Canada Life head office locations: Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, London, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg.
