About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing full-cycle accounting and supporting financial reporting. This role is structured to support professional growth toward a Finance Manager position, offering increasing exposure to leadership, strategic financial management, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be mentored by senior leadership to prepare for expanded responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Prepare month end journal entries and working papers Perform complex account reconciliations for both Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts, providing comparisons against prior year and budget Create and maintain continuity schedules for select general ledger accounts. Prepare reconciliation of intercompany accounts; summarize, prepare, and post journal entries for related party transactions. Leverage Power BI and other tools to design, build, and automate interactive financial dashboards and reports that provide clear, visual insights into KPIs and business performance Develop and implement process improvements and automation initiatives Support cash flow management and analysis. Coordinate and support external reviews Lead the development of annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency Qualifications CPA designation or in final stages of completion Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience Demonstrated experience in financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment is an asset What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career growth A collaborative and supportive team environment Direct exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision-making Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
