Job Description Position Description: Position Objectives: The Salesforce Field Service Lightning Technical Architect should be able to help drive the FSL implementation being done by TCS. He/she should help build solutions on Salesforce that fully leverage standard out-of-the-box functionality as well as custom solutions where appropriate with the goal of keeping the platform as standard and scalable as possible. He/she should have excellent understanding of Salesforce platform configuration and development. He/she should also possess strong communication and influence skills to discuss, interact and collaborate with both technical team members and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and guidance for FSL implementations and/or customizations including systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom Lightning development Provide technical leadership, setting best practices (e.g., integration and application development, deployment, testing, iterative refinement) to junior developers Review and finalize High Level Design of solution with the customer Provide the necessary guidance to estimate user stories Clarify any ambiguity with the user story requirements and baseline the estimation Provide technical leadership, guidance and coordination for development, integration, data management, and application testing Collaborate with other technical and non-technical team members, clients, and vendors to define, build, and deliver solutions Working with customers to analyze and resolve Salesforce and FSL product related issues/requirements Participate in the full software development life cycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment Design and develop solutions that best leverage the Salesforce FSL features to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, business requirements and customer goals Participate in technical design discussions, develop technical solution documentation that is aligned with business objectives Develop comprehensive system blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to guide implementation Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of FSL implementation Key Performance Indicators Customer sign off on technical design & solutions provided Successful delivery of engagements Feedback from customer IT/business and TCS teams Qualifications, Experience & Specialist Skills Understanding of Field service business – Workforce Management, Asset Service Management, Warranty & Service Contract Management, FSL Mobile App Excellent knowledge of Salesforce, FSL -Configuration & Customization Strong SFDC Development Experience on both Classic (Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, SOSL) and Lightning (Aura & LWC) Manage API integrations and web services Experience on Flows, Process builder and Trigger development 10+ years IT/FSM/SFDC experience preferable Minimum 5 years’ experience on FSL Configuration, architecture, and development Experience as Salesforce Technical Architect is must Should be certified on Salesforce with at least Platform Developer I and Admin Good working functional and technical knowledge of Salesforce product (FSL, Service Cloud) Strong understanding of deployment processes and tools regarding Salesforce like SFDX, Git Strong understanding of data migration tools and processes regarding Salesforce Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture Management Skills Able to guide & help the team for successful delivery of FSL engagements Experience working in a Global delivery environment, preferably in client-facing roles and representing remotely located teams Experience in managing a team with minimum size of 7-8 members Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication – written and oral – and able to effectively manage the relationships Problem solver able to think outside the box to new and repeat problem situations Collaboration – work effectively with Practice/project teams to ensure best outcome for customer and TCS Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
