We are looking to hire an Industrial Engineering Specialist who will be responsible for identifying, designing, planning, and executing automation and process improvement and capital projects through multi‑functional team collaboration to support safety, quality, and cost savings initiatives for production in the Oakville facility. What You Will Do Evaluate current state process gaps based on quality, safety, capacity, and cost. Identify and research automation opportunities that support future business growth. Lead an internal team or vendor through development, design, and execution phases of automation. Offer technical expertise in design, development, and execution of projects. Develop detailed project plans and ensure all deliverables, costs, and timelines are met. Establish the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow. Plan the sequence of operations and procedures; document manufacturing standard work and routings. Plan allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to maximize equipment utilization. Conduct studies on cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering and 5 years of related experience, or an Advanced Degree and 3 years of related experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum 3 years of experience implementing automation projects. Experience in machine/equipment installation and commissioning. Experience with CAD software systems. Experience with factory automation product offerings. Experience in project management and prioritizing projects. Successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP. Qualifications We Prefer Experience in the aerospace industry. Experience in Catia and/or NX. PLC programming and robotics experience. Experience with ABB and Fanuc. Problem‑solving and organizational skills. Demonstrated proficiency in all MS Office applications. Strong interpersonal relationships and motivation of cross‑functional teams. Understanding of continuous improvement and lean techniques.
