Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Senior Executive Recruiter | Accounting Advantage/HROne/Pro Fit Executive Search (Appleone Group of Companies) Accounting Manager Downtown Vancouver, BC $110-120K Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our financial reporting function and guide a high‑performing team. In this role, you’ll oversee the timely delivery of monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensure reporting accuracy, and partner closely with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and process improvements. You’ll also play a key role in supporting broader financial and commercial objectives across a diverse group of businesses. Responsibilities Lead and mentor the financial reporting team; manage performance and recruitment. Oversee preparation/review of monthly and quarterly financial statements, variance analysis, and external reporting packages. Review journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance. Liaise with auditors and support year‑end processes. Maintain and enhance accounting/reporting systems. Support budgeting, cash management, and other financial planning activities. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve reporting efficiency. Provide research, analysis, and ad‑hoc reporting for continuous improvement and strategic initiatives. Qualifications 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in medium‑size organizations. Experience from equipment financing companies is an asset. Strong technical knowledge of GAAP (ASPE; IFRS/US GAAP an asset). Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Dynamics Business Central or similar). Proven ability to develop and lead high‑performing teams. Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and manage complex workloads. Prior public accounting and industry experience are assets.
