8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 4J2, CanadaJob DescriptionPosted Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.The Marine Life Education Presenter is responsible for delivering all educational programs for the Marine Life Department, ensuring engaging, accurate, and age appropriate learning experiences for all participants.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver Marine Life Education programs, including exploratory experiences, curriculum-based school programs, and birthday parties, engaging participants of various ages through interactive and informative presentations.Provide program information to clients and maintain ongoing communication with existing groups to ensure smooth coordination, scheduling, and high-quality visitor experience.Research and create educational props and resources to support courses and programsAssist with the planning and delivery of seasonal Adventure Camps (spring, summer, and winter), supporting daily activities, program setup, and participant supervision.Participate in Ambassador Sea Lion Shows, assisting with presentations and guest interactions to promote marine conservation and animal awareness.Deliver educational presentations and monitor touch pools, ensuring accurate information is shared while maintaining animal welfare, safety standards, and positive guest experiences.Perform additional duties as required, contributing to daily operations, team support, and special events as needed.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must have excellent customer service, communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.Experience teaching in a school, in a Zoo & Aquarium environment, camp or similar position is an asset.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point with the ability to easily learn different software programs.Current Standard First Aid and CPR or willing to attend the required training.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:This is a part time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings, weekend, and holidays.Must have a valid Class 5 Alberta Drivers’ License and be able to provide a clear Driver’s Abstract.Must be able to pass a basic security clearance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
